Cleaning up the Machine Shop

Now available from Air Cleaning Systems (acs) is the new mobile universal low pressure cleaner range from PH-Cleantec. The sole UK distribution agreement will see Cardiff based acs promote the exciting new mobile units for cleaning components or machine tools.

The innovative new machines heat water or machine coolant to 90 degrees C within a minute and work at an operating pressure from 3 to 7.5Bar to clean components and machine tools. The Cleantec 600SR and 1000SR Universal Hot Cleaners have been specifically developed as mobile units for cleaning components whilst the SRK1000-AS has been developed for machine cleaning.

The 600SR mobile spray cleaner incorporates a cleaning bath for cleaning parts and has a water recycling facility that utilises two filters with filter monitoring.  The 600SR has a spray water volume of 1 litre per minute at 4.5Bar and recycles the fluid through the re-circulating system that separates oil in its built-in sedimentation unit. The 600SR has a fresh water tank and a bath that hold 30 and 25 litres respectively. Resting at the top of the 600SR is the 70 X 50cm cleaning grid that can accommodate relatively large components whilst remaining of a compact size that makes the unit extremely agile and mobile.

Alongside the 600SR is the larger 1000SR unit. With both units mounted on wheels for mobility, the 1000SR mobile universal spray cleaner has a larger cleaning bath than the 600SR at 90X60cm. The 1000SR bath incorporates a bath with a solid drip off grid and slosh baffle to eliminate any possibility of overspill or splashing. The spraying device of the 1000SR has exchangeable nozzles and automatic pressure adjustment from 3 to 7.5Bar. For situations that demand a powerful cleaning solution, the 1000SR has a 1 to 1.8 litre/per minute spray rate. The 1000SR has a metering device for cleaning agent concentrate that increases the speed of cleaning. This more powerful unit has a 60 litre, 5 litre and 30 litre fresh water tank, detergent tank and bath, respectively. The exceptional power and cleaning capacity of the 1000SR is extremely mobile and can be comfortably used around a workshop with its 8m connecting cable, 5m spray lance hose and 3m pistol hose.
